Had a wonderful night on Friday night 13/12 24 a South African meal ,so different than going to a restaurant. Other guests were friendly and we chatted with many through the 5 course meal . Every course was explained what it was and ingredients used by Sarah . Time just flew by. It was a great experience. Sarah and Shabs spoke to us all at the end of the meal . Great fun , great night . I recommend to all to try .

On Sunday 21st July, Shabs and Sarah, from Durban Spice, had a pop up night at Atul Kochhar's Sindhu restaurant at The Compleat Angler in Marlow .A south African friend ,from Durban and I attended the evening of gastronomic delights. The presentation and unique flavours of all 5 courses were exquisite. The information given before each course was delivered in a lovely relaxed way and created a lovely vibe in the restaurant. My Durban friend was particularly impressed with the blend of spices and and subtle flavours in the lamb curry. What a fabulous evening. Thank you.

5* stars are nowhere near enough to extol the quality, inventiveness and sheer genius which obviously goes into the creativity and presentation of Durban Spice food. Just returned from Atul Kochhar Sindhu restaurant at The Compleat Angler in Marlowe where they prepared a five course menu this Sunday evening. Words cannot describe the sheer brilliance of the food my wife and I were served. We have enjoyed the privilege of eating around the world and nowhere comes close to what we enjoyed here. Shabs and Sarah, Michelin need a new category to rate you.
